Rumors that the two musicians are an item have been circulating lately, but Stefani jokingly responded to those speculation in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Saturday, ahead of her MasterCard Priceless Surprises concert in New York City.
“Have you read the news?” the 46-year-old singer said, laughing off the romance speculation.
During the concert, The Voice coach premiered an emotional song called “Used to Love You.” In August, she and husband Gavin Rossdale, 49, announced that they were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.
“I thought I was the best thing that ever happened to you,” the lyrics says. “I guess nobody taught you how to love.”
Last month Shelton, 39, responded with humor on Twitter regarding his dating life.
“Getting ready this morning to go put in my deer plots and looked at Twitter… Damn my dating life is awesome!! Let me know what happens…,” he tweeted then.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced in July that they have decided to go separate ways after four years of marriage.
